Year 9 Photography and Digital Media Incursion

On the 9th of May the year 9 Photography and Digital Media students were lucky enough to have Gazi of Gazi Photography speak to them about photography as a career path. Students were introduced to professional technical equipment from varying cameras, lighting methods and reflectors. The incursion was designed to assist students in further learning about manipulating light in order for them to take their own series this term. The practical portion of the session saw students getting into groups of three and rotating in the roles of director/photographer, model and reflector operator. The aim was for students to successfully alter natural light and they succeeded.
